Saturday with Thomas!

Today Mommy, Daddy and Isaac went to Strausburg for the Day out with Thomas. Even though it was very cold (37 degrees), we had an amazing time. Isaac loved it because not only did he get our full attention (Noah stayed with Granny and Grandpa), but he got to meet Thomas the Train! When Thomas pulled up, Isaac's face lit up like I have never seen before! He just smiled and gazed with wonderment as his beloved Thomas from the television was right in front of him! We took a train ride on a car pulled by Thomas and then got our pictures taken with him. We then went and Isaac shook Sir Topham Hatt's hand. We took another half hour train ride and came home with various Thomas merchandise. It was such an amazing day.

With Noah staying with my Mom and Dad, I could really focus on Isaac. He just keeps impressing me more and more with his language. He does not pronounce the words perfectly, but he is putting together 3 and 4 word phrases! It just shocks me! He has so much vocabulary right now that he can tell stories. He uses signs and spoken words to tell his stories, but he is definately remembering things and telling us about them. He will say that, "Mommy and Daddy and Isaac ride Thomas Choo Choo. Isaac happy. Shake Sir Topham Hatt hand. Thomas happy." Our family is just so blessed. There are miracles that happen every day and we love our little miracle, Isaac.

Isaac is doing SO well! You have every reason to be proud.

You are doing an amazing job. :D

And I am a little jealous of the 3 and 4 word phrases... ;)

I have a friend that saw Thomas on Sunday! He comes near us, too. Hopefully I can take Erin one day.

This looks like a really wonderful day! Good for Isaac getting mom and dad all to himself AND getting to see the beloved Thomas! He's such a sweet looking little fellow.

And the language is truly astounding! I more than a little jealous!
