Big Brother Isaac

It has been quite a while since my last post. Isaac is now a big brother! Noah was born on May 23rd at 8:35 AM. He was the same measurements as Isaac and they look so much alike. They will probably pass as twins later in life. Noah looks so much like Isaac did as a baby! There are small differences though. First of all, Isaac had more hair on the top of his head than Noah. Also, I think Noah is going to have Grandpa Rick's dimples. He doesn't smile yet, but when he makes grumpy faces, there are definately 2 dimples.

Noah couldn't ask for a better big brother. Isaac is so gentle with him! Isaac calls Noah "E E Oh ah"...for baby Noah. Isaac will sign baby and then make the sign for the letter "O" for Noah. So it is kind of like signing, "baby O" Too cute. Isaac also wants to hold Noah all the time! When he is done sitting with Noah, he will sign and verbalize to the best of his ability, "All done baby". Isaac also loves to pet Noah on the head and he will say, "Awwww E E". Translated it means, Awww....Baby! I really couldn't ask for Isaac to be better. He is so sweet with his little brother. It really warms my heart. Ian and I are blessed with a great family!

A special thanks to everyone who has helped during this time for me. Especially thanks to Granny and Gramps for watching Isaac while I was in the hospital. I know that Isaac had a great time and was well taken care of. Thanks to everyone for the flowers, balloons, meals, special visits and love you have shown me. It is so different dividing my time between a toddler and an infant! Kudos to all the moms who have done it before. It is so rewarding but way harder than it looks!

Your boys are adorable! I remember the days of juggling with two, and then I had three and wondered how moms with FOUR did it! :)
